With over 28 years of combined training experience Matt Merry and Juan Plaza built SpeedWorks on the foundation that the person comes before the athlete. Our small group training style and customized workouts are specifically designed to meet the needs of everyone involved.
- We have programs available for participants seven years of age and older.
- From Little League to the Pros, our staff works with athletes on all levels. At SpeedWorks Sports Performance Academy, we train them all... and their parents!
- Will TRAVEL 4Training! SpeedWorks is available to facilitate weekend clinics for teams or organizations interested in elevating their performance. Our program trains athletes in speed, linear and multi-direction movement, injury prevention, nutrition awareness, and much more.
Before joining a SpeedWorks Program each person will be guided by a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through a brief evaluation. The assessment will help our staff determine the participant’s physical condition and starting point. It is not a grueling experience, but we do ask that participants wear workout apparel. The test will last approximately 30-45 minutes. After which, the trainer will discuss the details of what program is best suited for that individual.
